The Black Werewolves Box Set by Gaja J. Kos ♥ Book Tour & GIVEAWAY ♥ (Paranormal Romance)

Enter the world where myth becomes reality, where long forgotten gods walk the earth, and where love forms bonds that cannot be broken even in the raging winds of battle.

♥ To be released November 1 ♥

"As a little thank you for everybody who has pre-ordered the Black Werewolves box set (or will at any time until release day – November 1st), I decided to gift FREE copies of my erotic paranormal romance novellas Drowned.

They’re set in the same world as the Black Werewolves, but the storyline is completely different, so you don’t have to read one in order to understand the other. However, reading both series does expand the reader’s view of the world they take place in."

To take advantage of this offer from Gaja,

In a world ruled by lethal Slavic immortals, Rose and her pack of Black werewolves are drawn into the beginning of a war as they try to uncover the being behind the mass murder of White werewolves.

Because the nature of the killings obstructs the normal passage of souls, Veles, the sultry lord of the underworld, offers Rose his assistance; the were is left facing not only the new knowledge of the pack's hidden lineage but also her growing fondness for the arrogant god...

To win the war, the pack must ascend to The Dark Ones. But to do so, they must be willing to risk being on the receiving end of the immortal community's wrath.

The ascension to The Dark Ones had brought Rose and her pack power. But it had also brought peril.

With the higher immortal circles observing their every move, the only way the pack can prevent from becoming the recipients of their resentment is to keep their presence profitable for the wider community.

When someone begins targeting the twentyfourhourlies, the civil and agreeable vampiric individuals, the werewolves come to their aid.

But what had first seemed like an assignment done to remain in the leaders' good graces, now becomes a mission for which the pack is willing to risk its safety and anonymity in exchange for the possibility of catching the responsible party.

Katja is more than ready to meet Jürgen's family. But she feels the need to share the shadows of her past first.

As they travel to Munich, Katja has to fight her fears and open up to the werewolf if she wishes to truly, wholly share her life with someone.

But her visit with the Freundenbergers brings more than just a heart-to-heart as the vampire finds herself in a situation that seems frightfully like an echo of her own nightmares.

Rose felt his muscles flex in graceful movement as he sprinted towards the courtyard that lay just beyond the alley. As soon as they left the narrowness of the walls, he leaped into the air and extended his wings, each bat taking them higher, until she could see the length of her street coming into full view below them. The simargl used the wind currents, leisurely taking her in a semi-circle around her neighborhood, before rising higher, his fur and his feathers shimmering in the unimpeded rays of sunlight.

The wind brushed against her skin as they gained speed; it would have been painful for a human, their less protected skin exposed to the elements like this, however, she welcomed the coolness it brought, knowing she still had the luxury of doing a half-shift at any time, should the strokes of fresh air become too aggressive for the tough, but nonetheless more sensitive human form.

The green landscape of Slovenia lay outstretched below them as the simargl kept a steady course, leaving the concrete circle of Ljubljana in the distance and taking them further southeast.

Gaja J. Kos is the international bestselling author of the urban fantasy series BLACK WEREWOLVES and the erotic paranormal romance novellas DROWNED. She is also a bilingual poet with 12 published poetry collections.

Gaja resides in Celje, Slovenia, with her husband and two Chinese Crested dogs.

    1. Thank you so much! The first two I designed myself after I couldn't find a single thing that I felt truly fit the stories (and the artists I was interested in were already booked), Chased was done by David of VamosWrite. He really did an excellent job, didn't he? It's one of my all-time favorite covers.

  15. What are your dreams and plans for your future as a writer?

    1. Thank you for your question.

My main dream is simply to be able to do this for the rest of my life. I love to write and being an author was my career choice since childhood. I think I truly can say that I'm living my dream.

My immediate plans are to finish the Black Werewolves series. The next full length novel is currently in the editing stages and will be released in the second half of January, so I'm very excited to see it slowly becoming the book I want it to be :)

The main goal for the future is to branch out the “universe” I'm creating. For instance, the Drowned novellas are set in the same universe as the Black Werewolves titles and can be read separately, but together, the two series give much more insight into how this fictional world works. I intend to follow this example and write more stories from the universe of Slavic immortals, some set in present day, some in the past, to let all the different aspects of the world show.

However, I'm currently also working on a Serbian fairy tale retelling which falls into YA epic fantasy genre and is completely separate from the Black Werewolves. It's such a blast to write! It's a co-authored project and we're discussing doing even more retellings of national Slavic tales in the future :)

  21. Do you think in your native language or in english when writing your poetry? I know some authors whose second language is english have a hard time writing poetry that will appeal to both

    ReplyDelete

    1. Both, actually, but not while composing the same poem.

Normally when inspiration hits, the words already come in the language that the poem will be in. I think that's why my English poetry is quite different from Slovenian and vice versa. Even though my former professor just might strangle me for saying this, I'm a firm believer that each language carries something unique. Something that cannot be replicated.

And for me, this is the case with poetry. Because, in my mind there, are things that cannot be said in Slovenian, my brain automatically switches to English.

Then again, it has been a while since I've written anything that isn't prose. Who knows how things will be once I pick up my notebook again? :)
