Heaven-Sent Highlander by Nancy Lee Badger 💕 Book Tour & Prize Pack Giveaway 💕 (Paranormal Romance)

A Scottish Highlander falls in battle only to awaken beside bronze statues at a present-day museum. Befriended by a beautiful Fae creature and her allies, he must defeat a demon or die.

At an American museum, surrounded by Auguste Rodin’s bronze statues, a Scottish Fae beauty is at a crossroads. Now that Gwendolyn’s friends are engaged, and the demon they fought vanquished, should she return home? After committing a terrible act, she could not explain to her cousin why she had appeared on his doorstep.

Alexander awoke in darkness inside a bronze statue, remembering how the green of Scotland’s Culloden field had turned red with blood that day in 1746. Had he died before awakening nude and sightless in front of strangers in present-day Raleigh, North Carolina? The mystery of how was overshadowed by why. Told that another warrior awoke when a demon threatened to take over the world, had a second demon escaped Hell? When the demon appears and demands Gwen join him, Alex must use all his new skills, weapons, and Heaven-sent powers to keep her and the world safe.

Gwen looked into the demon’s once handsome face and saw nothing but hate, lust, and something she hoped was worry. Did he read her hatred toward him in her eyes? Did he finally believe she would do everything in her power to rebuff him? However, using force and magical spells was not the answer.
“I love Sam, Henrí, Kenzie, and Alex. I am especially happy the Highlander came into my life. I want to share that happiness with you. Hug me. Feel the joy in my heart.”
The demon slid to a stop. His black eyes widened and his mouth opened. His skin was as gray as the asphalt and he gurgled, as if he choked on words that refused to come. In a flash of purple fire, he snuffed out.
“Where did he go?” Alex asked.
Gwen searched the area as she stepped away from the large statue. The pond rippled and the croaks of frogs grew louder. The silence had once again filled with the sounds of the night, meaning the demon was long gone. For how long, though?
“I don’t see him, praise the Goddess. Spouting happiness worked. But, I am mad at you!”
“Me? I just saved yer pretty little arse again!” Alex walked up to her and handed her the dagger she’d lost.
“Where did ye find this?”
“On the trail near the meadow. I sense ye had a slight tussle with the demon. Did he hurt ye?”
Alex’s whispered words made her look down. She’d been rubbing the middle of her chest with the palm of her other hand. “The bastard surprised me. Hit me with a purple bolt of heat that took my breath away. I am not sure how I got here.”
“Does it matter? Let’s go home.” He turned and circled easily around one of the other statues.
“Alex! Ye can see?”
He tuned back and smiled. “Aye, lass. I told yer demon lover a wee lie. No one worries about a blind man. I wanted to cleave his head from his body, but the look in yer eye held me back. I was surprised. I saw strength without fear, and I was curious about what ye planned next.

Henrí Chevalier's last memory, before stumbling naked into a museum’s moonlit garden, was Auguste Rodin and his dusty Paris studio in 1886. To escape his broken heart, Henrí volunteered to sleep inside a statue until needed. Expecting to die, he discovers he must learn to use the unexpected powers Heaven has given him. Without them he will fail his mission against otherworldly creatures, such as demons and faeries.

Kenzie Mackintosh, a dedicated art museum's curator, spies a naked man hiding among bronze statues. A quick glance ignites desire within her, but she is too tied-up in work to act on it. Unaware of her fae heritage, their relationship heats up as he disrupts her job. While Henrí tries to process modern buildings, cars, and a broken elevator, a demon attacks and forces Henrí and Kenzie to enlist the aid of her powerful fae relatives. When the demon possesses the body of her ex-lover and threatens to kill him, then use her to take over the world, Henrí and Kenzie must learn to trust each other, even if Kenzie’s death might be the only answer to the world’s salvation.
