From Alien Liaison:
I limp up to the alien with a smile. He turns to a darker grey male behind him and speaks. A moment later, my AI provides a translation—This is the pretty I told you about. Surprised but pleased, I blush. As I stare up at his chiseled features, his nostrils flare and he murmurs, ‘Vasohamo.’ When my AI translates that, I rather wish it hadn’t. Aroused. He can smell me? Oh Mars. That’s all I need. With a smirk, his darker companion moves past him, stretcher in hand. Eight more Zorths follow behind and head for the casualties. Lemo draws me to one side.
‘You are hurt?’
‘No, it’s fine, really—’
He places one of his deliciously thick fingers on my lips. ‘I was not asking. You are hurt.’
With that, he stoops, scoops me into his strong arms, and carries me out of the hull. It takes a couple of seconds for me to push through the haze of shock, and I wriggle in his hold. ‘Lemo, please. I have to stay. Master Sergeant didn’t give me leave to—’
‘Your E8 told you to give me anything I want.’
‘You heard that? How?’
Lemo grins. ‘We have good hearing. So, you do whatever I want, yes?’
Bemused, I can only nod.
‘Besides, you are on Zorth now, and your human ranks mean nothing. Here, I am boss.’
‘And where’re you taking me, boss?’
‘To Nimanis. She is healer. Will repair you. Then I take you home. Take care of your other need. Yes?’
