Such a wonderful, low-stress, emotional-at-times contemporary romance...the story itself is like a modern-day fairy tale. I couldn't out it down! I blew through it in 2 sittings. Oh, and Ciro is totally perfect. Sweet, sexy, compassionate, persistent. loyal...I might be in love with a figment of Sunniva's imagination. Lol! And Savannah was just awkward enough to be realistic and extremely likable. Throw in a cast of minor characters that added so much to the book in their own ways, and this is one of those books I will be reading again! |

She always inserts an unusual, unconventional element into the heart of the story, and its "wait, whaaaaat?"-ness just sucks you in and won't let go until "the end." Yes, several aspects of this book could be off-putting to some people, but this is a fantastic example of wonderful creativity and masterful storytelling that reminds me how incredibly talented Sunniva is. To be honest, I wasn't sure if I would like the book in the beginning, given how it began, but it all works out in the end and holy moly, Luka is hot. Lol! I loved the almost mystical feel a segment of the book had when Geneva and Luka went on their "field trip." Again, it's a scenario I never would have expected, and I thought the whole thing was beautifully done. The whole book was beautifully done, and I can't wait for more in this series!!! |

I loved how Isa was untouchable; didn't get attached, didn't want companionship...until Tatiana. The transformation Isa goes through once he meets her is just SO amazing to read! And I LOVED catching up with Clown Irruption! I remember their respective stories from Walking Heartbreak and In The Absence of You (need...more...Clown...Irruption...stories), and the tease I got from Troy and Aishe was UNREAL. I don't think you need to have read those books to enjoy this one, but you will want to go back and read them!!! Yep. Huge Sunniva fan. Can't wait for your next book!!!!
