“You enjoy watching me flustered, don’t you?”
Jax arches both eyebrows. Bad choice of words.
“You know what I mean.”
Leaning in, his voice gritty and sexy, he looks me straight in the eyes when he speaks. “I love watching you. Period. But what I like best is watching you pretend you’re unaffected. It’s like an unspoken challenge.” He pauses and leans in even closer. “I love the pink that creeps up your cheeks when I say something dirty. He throws his head back with a chuckle and looks at the poor confused waiter. “We’ll take whatever two are your favorites. Surprise us.”

I actually limited myself to how much I read each day because I wanted this book to last forever.
I like Elle because she is intelligent yet damaged, and allows herself to be saved by Nico. I like Nico because he has has an edge to him, is just the right amount of rough vs. gentle, and he allows himself to be saved by Elle.
While I was completely satisfied with the ending of this book, I am ECSTATIC that MMA #2 is in the works, which focuses on a different character in the story.
I am now a forever-fan of Vi Keeland!!!

I like how Vi incorporated the characters from the first book. While I don't think it is necessary to have read the first book in the series to understand this book, it was nice to learn more about what happened with Nico and Elle.
I liked Vinny's protectiveness, especially of Liv. I also really liked their back-story, and how their current situation built on what had happened in their past.
In typical Vi-fashion, the love scenes were VERY hot, and the conflict was gripping. Actually, there were several areas of conflict throughout the book, and each one sucked me into the story more and more.
I can DEFINITELY see an angle for a third book in the series, and if Vi writes it, I'll ABSOLUTELY be reading it!!!
