When Bonnie's Cousin goes to prison just for having the wrong friends, She goes faithfully to visit him. She notices the good looking guard there all the time, but feels it would be awkward to approach him.

Dean watches Bonnie every time she comes to the prison and finds himself falling for the frequent visitor with the speed of a freight train. When he hears her singing one day, there in the visiting room, he realizes he just has to get to know her. The question is, how? Then when she's viciously attacked by a violent prisoner, he realizes how much she means to him.

Can these two overcome their hesitance and find a way to be together?

A touching story of love at first sight!

I really liked the way in which Bonnie and Dean first "met" at the jail. It gave them sort of an "adoring each other from afar" kind of relationship, and that made the story pretty interesting! I was eager to read their first ACTUAL meeting, and let's just say that it was action-packed!

They both kept feeling that special "something" about the other, and it was almost magical how things just seemed to fall into place for them. Until that one day at the jail... (Don't worry! No spoilers here!)

All in all, it was a good, quick, read, and I would be interested in reading more romances by A.R.!

A.R. was born and raised in Bronx, NY and is the oldest daughter of two girls. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science and Information Technology, which was only briefly used. Nikki Mathis Thompson spent her formative years singing, dancing and creating her own world of make-believe. From an early age she developed a love of reading that has grown exponentially to near addiction. She has a business degree from the University of Texas at Dallas. Her degree looks great in the frame, but hasn't been utilized in years. She gladly left the cubicle life behind to raise her daughter and a son was added to the mix some years later.
