Orphan Entangled by Liza Street & Keira Blackwood 💕 Review, Behind the Scenes, New Release Spotlight & EXCLUSIVE AudioBook Giveaway 💕 (Reverse Harem Shifter Romance)

The law of the jungle doesn't say anything about how many mates a woman can take.

Raised by wolf shifters, I want nothing more than to fit in, despite being human.

When two new shifters—a panther and a bear—arrive to tell me that a tiger shifter is bent on destroying me, I have to remain strong.

I will not bend. I will not break under stress.

As the pack comes together to create a plan for my protection, I battle an unseen foe--my attraction to three men.

You think you know my story? You don't. I'm the orphan in the jungle, raised by a pack of wolves, but I'm going to write my own laws.

Orphan Entangled is a Spellbound Shifters standalone novel. It was previously published in the Fated Mates anthology. If you're looking for a fast-burn, WhyChoose read and a fresh retelling of an old story, buy your copy of Orphan Entangled and transport yourself into a lush, steamy read.

I REALLY really liked this story!

Okay, here's what you need to know: Standalone, SCORCHING-HOT, shifters, excellent writing. Sold yet?

In this loosely-based adaptation of The Jungle Book, I met Nadia, a very naive virgin. But I get it. After all, she was literally raised by wolves (shifters) in the middle of nowhere.

But what I REALLY liked about her was that even though she was naive and innocent, she was no pushover nor a shrinking violet.

Enter two visiting traders who take a special interest in her, and she with them.

BUT, Nadia already had strong feelings for one of her packmates, Rhet, and he for her...but neither one knew how the other felt...isn't that delicious?! I LOVED that!

However, the writing with regard to Rhet and Nadia was a little too good...their emotions and love were SO well done that I almost wanted her to send the travelers away and tell them she was already taken.

I would LOVE to read more stories about other characters in this book...maybe Malik could get some redemption...?

Either way, this writing team is AWESOME and I'm a BIG big big fan!

(I read this story as part of the Fated Mates: A Limited Edition Collection of Paranormal Romance and Reverse Harem Shifter Novels, which I purchased)

So, our story, Orphan Entangled, is a reverse harem retelling of The Jungle Book, and the idea still makes me giggle!

The origin story is that Keira's husband was giving her book ideas. When she shared this one with me for a reverse harem project, I started laughing because all I could think of was little Mowgli and how it just couldn't work. But after a FaceTime call, we decided we were up for a fun challenge, and a story was born!

Our orphan is a young woman named Nadia who has been raised by a pack of wolf shifters. When two new men come to warn her about Khan, a dangerous tiger shifter, the story takes a decidedly different turn away from the Disney version you're familiar with!

It didn’t take long before I looked at Rhet again, at the way his brown shirt clung to his shoulders and tapered down at the waist. He was twenty-three this year, three years older than me, and his muscles seemed to have exploded in the past few months alone.

I wasn’t supposed to notice, but I did.

I wasn’t supposed to want him, but I did.

It was a quiet, secret want. The kind that I could usually ignore during the day. The kind that came up in the darkness at night, filling my mind with forbidden images of the two of us together, his muscles bunching as he held me tightly in his arms and did...what? What would he do? I knew there was something--I’d seen wild animals doing things in the jungle and I knew men and women lay together in similar fashion. But what I wanted to do looked nothing like what the beasts did.

Rhet could never know--I was like a little sister to him. And I couldn’t even tell my best friend, Tahira, because she was his sister.

So the images plagued my mind, delighting me, shaming me.

  1. This is a fast paced sexy entertaining read. Enjoyable characters interesting storyline twists and turns and of course heat. All together make for a very good read. It is a standalone that is loosely based on the jungle book.
