A Dragon's Fated Heart by Beverly Ovalle 💕 Guest Post, Series Tour & Gift Card Giveaway 💕 (Dragon Shifter Romance)

The apocalypse has come.

Dragons awaken to once again reign over the skies.
Dax and Jasima explore and try to save what they can of mankind.

Their children's future depends on it.

This is the prequel for a Dragon's Fated Heart series.

The apocalypse has come and gone.
Those who survived learned to adapt.
Dragons awaken to once again reign over the skies.

Upon eruption of a volcano, Ari awakens to a changed world, and a knowing that his dragon's mate is near. He saves her twice—once as a dragon, and again as a man—and wins her confidence.

Hope cried out, moaning, “just change me with pleasure?”

Hope is restless and unfulfilled until she meets Ari, the man of her fantasies. The sensual tension between them heightens with every touch. When their passion explodes, Hope gets pulled into the dragon's mating ritual...and into a world of erotic sensation she never dreamed existed but now cannot live without. The dragon binds his mate to him with a ritual that shows Hope her true nature in this humorous erotic romance.

The apocalypse had been and gone.
Those left banded together for survival, creating safety from the chaos.
They succeeded.

Faith wanted more, she wanted to live, to love, fly free. More than survival, Faith craved adventure. Leaving home, seeking a new life, all that ceased when she witnessed her sister being abducted-by dragons, creatures shrouded in myth. Determined to rescue her, Faith begins an adventure she never wants to end.

Dragon shifter Crag follows his heart, hunting for his fated mate. Once he finds her, Crag is determined to keep her safe, from all threats. Admitting he is a dragon shifter and involved in her sister’s kidnapping may be the end of them.

Until the interference of a race of dragons desperate for survival grasps their only chance, stealing Faith and drawing Crag along to save her.

The apocalypse had come and gone.
Secrets lie buried waiting to be found.
Dragons are not the only ones awakening to a new world.

Grace has always felt a bit like an outsider, even in her own family. She preferred to do things on her own, ignoring her loneliness. That all changes when Rog barrels into her life, opening her eyes to so much more.

Dragon shifter Rog has seen what problems hiding your inner dragon from your mate brings. Saving his mate from a precarious situation, he changes in front of her. Her awe and hesitant acceptance have him wrapped around her finger in a heartbeat.

Together they find a hidden, cryogenic facility. Do they awaken the lost souls hidden in the depth of the mountain? Dare they take the chance of possibly bringing back the diseases to once again ravage their world?

Those are easy questions, but how can Rog explain the mating ritual to change Grace into a dragon involving himself and other dragons giving her more pleasure in a once in a lifetime experience?

from Saving Grace

The third and final door loomed over them. Huge, it had a window that was darkened. No light shown through it.
Rog and Hark headed straight to it. Poked around, grunted trying to lift the bottom, and suddenly the door rumbled and rose in the air. They stepped quickly back.
Grace hurried to join them. Her jaw dropped, the vista from the door unexpected. Excitement swirled in her belly. “Look.”
Hark and Rog sported grins across their faces. All three of them walked forward. Stopped at the entrance. Boulders filled most of the tunnel, but not all. Not the view meeting their eyes.
Grace gazed, taking everything in. Mountains surrounded a beautiful valley. Green and lush. It looked like it went on forever. Animals grazed in the distance. Horses, cattle, even buffalo. The mountains had goats, sheep and, she thought, donkeys. Most of the animals ignored the noise of the door opening. Perhaps they were too far away to notice.
“Let’s explore.” Hark stripped, dropping his clothes. He ran forward, around any boulders in his way. Once clear he shifted, his wings driving him into the air.
“Shall we?” Rog held out a hand, ushering her before him. A charming grin and the excitement sparkling in his eyes convincing her.
“Yes.”
They walked hand in hand around the debris. Once Grace pulled her hand away and passed Rog, she turned and watched his transformation. His dragon as handsome as the man. She pressed a hand to her chest. Her eyes ate up every detail.
The dragon preened, expanding his chest, stretching out his neck.
He was beautiful. Coal dark, golden eyes. In the sunlight, his scales shimmered. A touch of red flickered under the black with each movement.
Grace approached slowly. His eyes, Rog’s eyes, never left her. Holding out her hand, he nuzzled her. Joy burst over her. She hugged his neck, ran a hand over his legs, examined his back. She remembered what he said. She checked his spines. Unless she wanted to be speared to death, there would be no riding on his back.
His talons it was.
“Okay, how does this work?” Grace stood back, looking at him.
Rog ran forward, his wings propelling him up. He banked, hovered over her, offering his hand, claw, or talon, she wasn’t sure what to call it, to her.
Grace climbed in. She had plenty of room. How a large man transformed into such a huge creature she didn’t know. Magic. It was the only thing that made sense.
Rog closed his talon around her, leaving room for her to look out.
Grace couldn’t stop the thrill from running through her. They rose higher, flew forward. Flew. She was flying. Looking out, seeing the land unfold before her, awe filled her. A grin spread across her face. Her hands grasped Rog’s talons, holding on to see everything. She was flying!

What are your top 10 favorite books/authors?
What book do you think everyone should read?

I’m an avid reader. I can easily read a book a day if my family leaves me alone. That doesn’t happen a lot. In the course of a week, with familial duties, I usually read five books a week. I’m an eclectic reader. My favorite is paranormal romance, but I love science fiction too. Another go to is sports romance, especially hockey. I love the sport so reading about it is natural.
I don’t really have a must read book. Some of my go to authors for paranormal are Christine Feehan for her Dark and Leopard series, Harmony Raines because I love the world she’s built and her books make me happy and TS Joyce because I lose myself in her worlds. Issac Asimov for science fiction. He is the master! Anne McCaffrey and David Eddings for fantasy. Plus, a new author to me, Samantha Whiskey for hockey romances along with Michele Shriver.
There are so many wonderful books out there! But my secret love is cookbooks. I have close to forty. They’re not all in the kitchen either. I have them all over the house. To answer the next question, yes, I love to cook.
If I could visit any world in a book, I think it would be Desire, Oklahoma. No, it’s not real, I’ve looked, lol. The town is in a series by Leah Brooke also known as Lana Dare. Hot, spicy and the men! Whoa. Like I said, I’d love to visit her town.
You hear a lot about how romance is looked down on by other genres. But, romance encompasses every genre there is. Scifi, horror, suspense, etc. It has it all and a happy ending to boot! Books are like movies running through my head. Taking me on adventures and showing me new worlds. That is why I read.

Beverly Ovalle dabbled with writing on and off for years when her best friend finally dared her to submit a story to a writing contest. Beverly decided she had nothing to lose and since she'd always wanted to be an author sent it in and agonized for months waiting to hear back. Contract in hand she has never looked back.

Beverly has been obsessed with dragons and romance since she was a young girl, collecting dragon books and reading everything she could find on them even down to the care of real life dragons. She's always been slightly panicked that the world as we know it will end, so has prepped for it, haunting survivalist pages and prepper projects she felt she needed in the event SHTF.

An avid fan of all romance, Beverly's goal is to share her love of the written word and write the hot and erotic romances that she enjoys. She writes what she loves to read and it was only a matter of time before her obsessions crept into her writing for her to share. She hopes you enjoy her tales as much as she loves writing them.
