Night's Bliss by Mary Hughes 💕 Book Tour and $25 Gift Card Giveaway 💕 (Vampire Romance)

Now I am in over my head and my heart. And my only choice is to trust this dark, charismatic creature…or die.

I could never trust a vampire. Ever. It wasn’t enough that vampires killed my parents and left me for dead. Nope, they also left me with this searing fear of every one of their kind. But when someone I care about grows sick from poison, I have no choice but to infiltrate a Romanian castle filled with pissy, evil vampires in search of the antidote.

And my only saving grace is that for some reason, I can do things other humans can’t.

Unfortunately, I also seem to be the perfect bait for the Vampire King, Kai Elias. More than seven feet of dark, wicked charisma, ancient eyes, and a body that holds more power and raw, animal sexuality than I can resist. But there’s something about Elias that looks painfully, terrifyingly familiar.

Now I am in over my head and my heart. And my only choice is to trust this dark, charismatic creature…or die.

Each book in the Ancients series is STANDALONE:
* Night's Caress
* Night's Kiss
* Night's Bliss

Trust me, the huge, terrifying vampire told me.

Easier said than done. I’d been frightened of Umbra’s league of hardened, trained killers; this vampire had torn through them like tissue paper.

Oh, that first sight of him upstairs. He was unlike anything I’d ever experienced. Towering at over seven feet tall, red eyes gleaming with ancient, alien intelligence. And that body, three hundred pounds of pure muscle, grace, and power, exuding a raw, potent sexuality.

My shameful intuition had whispered the truth.

This is Greyson in his true form.

I hated my intuition, but it had never betrayed me as badly as that moment.

Greyson loved you, it whispered. But this darkly charismatic beast? Never.

At first, I’d refused to believe it. What Greyson and I had shared was real. Then I’d met his terrible red gaze.

This devastating male creature? I was nothing to him. My sweet friend was gone. The love we’d had for each other—likely gone.

And then I was falling through that trapdoor.

Now, in the dim dungeon light, his burning gaze cut straight into my soul. Trembling, I looked away. He’d been this beautiful, terrible creature all along. A vampire. A monster like the ones who’d slaughtered my parents. No, worse. He’d torn through Umbra’s vampires and humans with a rage that made the monsters who’d hurt me as a girl look like playtime. The sheer violence and devastation threw me back into that red haze of blood and icy terror. It shocked me how fast it happened, despite years spent rebuilding my life brick by brick.

My heart, though… My heart whispered treason. That’s Greyson.

Greyson had been too sick to be intimate. This potent male would burn me to cinders.

A small price to pay, whispered my rebel heart.

I clapped my hands to my face. Trust him? I couldn’t even trust myself.

When artist Brie Lark left her vampire ex and her straitjacket of a hometown to breathe free in New York City, she promised herself two things: she’d never go back to Meiers Corner, and no more vampires. The last thing she expected—or wanted—was to be sent back home on an assignment. But her boss at the FBI needs her undercover on a murder case, working with a black-haired, black-eyed giant god of a man who’s her idea of perfection, except for one thing—he’s a vampire.

FBI Special Agent Seb Rikare is an ancient vampire hardened by loss. He’s cut all emotions to protect himself and leads a deliberately steady, almost sterile life. The brash young woman forced to pose as his lover irritates him, with her jangling bracelets and colorful hair. But as much as she irritates him, he finds himself drawn to her lively spirit and he’s tempted to make fantasy a reality.

As a human who hunts vampires, I risk death each night I take to the streets. Bloodsuckers are stupidly fast. I have only my wits, my practice, and my weapons.

Oh yeah, and my rage.

Vampires killed my parents before my eyes when I was young. My revenge? I'll destroy every last one of the evil bastards, starting with their king.

But only one man can help me locate the king. Achingly tall, dark, and too-sexy-for-his-own-good, Ryker is gorgeous enough to be the vamp king himself. But the devilish arch to his black eyebrow, his white, unfangy grin, and rocking the daytime are good clues that he's human.

We’ll have to work together as uneasy allies if I hope to get my final revenge on the king—only now it seems evil monsters are also after our prey, and they’ll stop at nothing to see us all dead. And why are they having so much trouble finding the king?

I write wickedly fun romantic adventures and steamy paranormal romances, stories that crackle with action and love. Challenging, alpha men--and women not afraid of a challenge. Oh, do the sparks fly when he meets THE woman guaranteed to infuriate and inflame him most. In real life I'm a USA Today bestselling author, a spouse and mother, a flutist, a computer geek, and a binge-TV-watcher of The Flash, Elementary, NCIS, and Wynonna Earp.

  4. Bram Stoker would never recognize vampires as depicted in today's literature--maybe for the best. They are certainly more multi-faceted.
